About Me

I am part of 'BeatRoot', a performance group that plays West African rhythms at various community events in and around Fife.  We are based at the Cupar Djembe Workshop that meets every second Saturday at YMCA, Cupar, Fife.  Our drum teacher is Steve Haden (God bless 'im).  We are always looking for new members for the workshop (beginners welcome), and would also welcome new members for performing in BeatRoot.  We play at all sorts of places: local Gala Days, Students Union, Village Halls, Edinburgh Fringe etc.  Find out more at www.BeatRootbeat.org.uk

I have run drum workshops for people who experience mental health problems.

Despite all that, I am a completely crap drummer and one day they will find me out ;-)
